“Hollywoodland” Advance Review, Images, and Promo

Hollywoodland is a stunning episode, packed with Rittenhouse intrigue, adorably awkward moments, beautiful outfits, one heck of a musical number, and Hedy Lamarr.

Do I sound repetitive if I say this is my new favorite episode? Because Hollywoodland just dropped 2×01 in the trenches, and left 2×02 for dust.

Flynn makes an appearance. Lucy makes a promise she probably shouldn’t have.
And the team does well with something that’s little more than a Pictionary clue.

The Time Team has a ton of fun this episode, pretending to be people they’re not, and getting to do things they haven’t done in a while – like sing.
Rufus’ pop-culture references in this episode gave me life.

Jiya continues to break our hearts, and a member of the team knows more about her condition than they’ve been letting on…

You’re not prepared for Lucy’s musical number. Wyatt wasn’t either.
And the scene that comes soon after it is touching, and sweet, and so packed full of emotion that Lyatt fans will be a puddle of feels.

Oh, and there’s a callback to one of Lucy’s lines from season one that’s just pure fun.

Dialogue Tease:

“Roman charioteers do not say ‘giddy up’ to their horses.”

“I’ll try and get stabbed more often.”

“You’re not hideous.”

“That’s pretty nerdy.”

“Can you be cool?”

“Just keep him on a leash.”

Hollywoodland airs March 25th, at 10/9c on NBC.

    1. I agree, I am scared for Jessica to be back. Hopefully she is Rittenhouse and always was. Plus I hope Wyatt realizes that fate brought him to Lucy and that he is meant to be with her.

  1. I really hope that we get them confessing their feelings like a possible “L” word but it is probably too soon for that, probably will be in the finale.

  2. Also that picture of Jiya and Rufus has me thinking based on their expressions that this the moment that Wyatt finds out that Jessica is alive.
